Why can't you charge my payment method?

Here are some reasons why your payment may fail:

  • Your payment method is invalid or expired.
    Your payment details (credit card number, expiration date, CVV/CVC) may be invalid or expired. Please update your Mouseflow account with new details or use a different payment method.

  • Your billing address does not match or has changed recently.
    Your billing address may not match the payment method (for a company card) or may have changed (if you moved recently). Please update your Mouseflow account with new details or use a different payment method.
  • Your overall account limit was reached (insufficient funds).
    Your account may have a limit to the overall amount that can be charged. Please call your bank to find out why the charge was declined and ask them to adjust the limit(s) for your account.
  • Your account exceeded the maximum amount allowed for a single transaction.
    Your account may have a limit to the amount that can be charged for a single transaction. Please call your bank to find out why the charge was declined and ask them to adjust the limit(s) for your account and/or to authorize the transaction.

  • Your account exceeded the maximum charges allowed for a set time period.
    Your account may have a limit to the number or amount of transactions within a certain time frame. Please call your bank to find out why the charge was declined and ask them to adjust the limit(s) for your account and/or to authorize the transaction.
  • Your card declines charges from online sources.
    Your account may not accept charges from an online source. Please call your bank to whitelist these transactions or use a different payment method.
  • Your card does not allow recurring billing.
    Your account may not allow automated or recurring billing. Please call your bank to whitelist these transactions or use a different payment method.
  • Your payment was made while you were traveling.
    Your account's risk threshold may be elevated if you recently traveled outside your country or local area. Please call your bank to whitelist these transactions or use a different payment method.
