Does Mouseflow affect user's browsing experience?

Follow

Mouseflow does not affect a user's browsing experience.

First time users download a JavaScript file of about 14 KB (zipped), and a beacon of 2 KB is sent from the browser to Mouseflow every 5-10 seconds, depending on the visitor behavior.

Our JavaScript file is loaded asynchronously from our CDN (look for cdn.mouseflow.com). This means that the JavaScript file is loaded without blocking the browser thread, as opposed to plain <script src="..."> references. Our CDN has edges all over the world, minimizing load time. The beacon is called after the HTML document is fully loaded, so this is also asynchronous and doesn't count in your total page load time.

This is unnoticeable for over 99% of the visitors. Some IE6 users on slow machines might feel a difference in the browsing speed.
